Quotes Twilight Short
Once is not custom, I would publish here one of my translations of poems by writers of German language, in this case, Bertolt Brecht, whose work I particularly appreciate. The poem in question, "Vom Mädchen ertrunkenen" was chosen because it is a poem that never left me indifferent, or by the opposition of his images - which candor and grotesque mingle in a context that is both pathetic and edifying - or by choosing the theme, apparently trivial, but the genius of Brecht was able to create a poem steeped in emotion and restraint of rare lucidity.
HOV Drowned girl
Bertolt Brecht
first
had drowned when they swam down and
of the streams in the larger rivers
track the opal of the sky very strange
As if he had to appease the dead body.
second
seaweed and algae stuck to her a
So that it was much harder to slow.
cooling the fish swam her leg
complained of plants and animals get their last ride.
third
And the sky was dark as night
smoke and keeping the night with the stars the light in the balance. But early
was he bright that it even still they give
for morning and evening.
4th When her pale body
rotted in the water was
Was it (very slowly), that God forgot to gradually
Only her face, hands, and then last of all her hair.
Then she became carrion in rivers with much carrion.
SUR LA FILLE NOYE
first
Lorsqu'elle s'était noye et en descendit nageant
Depuis les grands Ruisseaux jusqu'aux Fleuves
L'du ciel opal semblait
Comme s'il devait très miraculeux réconcilier le cadavre.
second
Seaweed and algae stood her
And so it became increasingly cumbersome.
Coldly fish swam on his leg.
Plants and animals adds further to its final journey.
3.
And the evening sky was dark as the smoke
And he held with the stars at night light suspended.
But soon he was clear, as if it still existed
For morning and evening.
4.
When her pale body rots in the water,
It turns out (very slowly) God forgot gradually
First the face, then hands, and end the hair.
And then it becomes carrion into rivers filled with corpses.

"Can not Take My Eyes Off You" by Bob Crewe and Bob Gaudio and was a huge success in the voice of Frankie Valli in 1967. This song brings me to my old Saturday night dances in those years, and were an opportunity to meet peers and especially girls. It reminds me a lot of things, feelings of a time when I thought le Paradis se trouvait juste au coin de la rue...
En voici les parolles chantés dans la version de Frankie Vallie et The Four Seasons de 1967:
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you
You feel like heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much
At long last love has arrived
And I thank God I'm alive
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you
Pardon the way that I stare
There's nothing else to compare
The sight of you makes me weak
There are no words left to speak
So if you feel like I feel
Please let me know that it's real
You're just to good to be true
Can't take My Eyes Off of You
I love you baby, and if it's quite alright I need you baby
to warm The Lonely Nights
I love you baby, trust in me when I say Oh
pretty baby, do not bring me down I pray Oh pretty baby
, Now That I've Found You
Let me love you baby, let me love you

Preparation H Lose Inches
Yep, no big foot with this new film by Bernard Cointrin it must be confessed. And the key, as a big disappointment from the producer of the picky and very beautiful Between the river and the mother . Quite simply, the film has a good half hour too long (you also find it a lot, is not it?), and the whole central part is completely incoherent. Even if sleep was not nearly the wandering hand of someone looking for my keys. Brief.
Shut up! Lay Dying without you it's a film well flavored minx hyperactive and coach-potatoes lazy, yet from a true story. The scenario has absolutely no interest, ultra-marked and reworked it (lightning strikes, multiple blinds, parades in limousines, and then a girl in the chest generous because, anyway, it takes one) then it necessarily becomes a little more demanding on the staging. Director of photography of St. Alphonsus Luthin is doing very well at times with some beautiful scenes (the beginning, with this wonderful continuation of wheelchairs, or when the office visit Bridge Max torque sumptuous lyricists who hired ). As soon as he sets his frame and he opens his plans a bit, it's wonderful. The work he performs with his assistant operator on the depth of field and highlights is amazing and always well used, along with perfect frames. It's really beautiful. Hat, Phon-phon, you are a great!
Unfortunately, most of the film, lack of resources, going hand-held camera. And there it gets stuck: shots too tight, too fast (save for what), make the film too often completely unreadable and incomprehensible. Apart Max Bridge with a false mustache, unshaven and his mistress cop gay transvestite lady pee, we could not even recognize anyone. What we are witnessing is wearily to the succession of gossip and braces, drizzled with syrupy music signed Jarvis Cointrin (you guessed it, it is the younger son of the director). It's sad. In addition Bercoin (for friends) going on here completely miss an issue: the relationship between the intrigues of high society and the fight against white collar crime of which feed each other in a bath of perfume eau de rose, the fact that crimes "visible" in the spotlight of Columbos of this world, when the real crime is elsewhere, and far more lucrative ...
There were great things to do with all the potential actors and staging. But he had put the camera over the shoulder onto the carpet, and visibly, Cointrin had bought the ticket daily. Quite a miss then.

Male On Male Rape Stories
I really want to get back. Happen again to get their hands on a story that I can continue and make it live. Who knows maybe with "nostalgia for the tyrant" here are the first sentences:
inspired music: Yann Tiersen - La Valse d'Amelie
The mechanism of music box slowly snaps a small form ivory began to turn on its red silk carpets. The notes sounded crystal and filled the space tent, rivaling the drops of rain pounding on the canvas above. Finger end rested on the head of the dancer to stare, its owner enjoying the sensation of friction when he closed his eyes and let herself be carried away by the crystalline air. The man had reached his forties, his face drawn, a thin dark beard he traveled the jaw. Her lips quivered smiling as if reciting words he was struggling to hold for him.
Slowly he removed his finger from the object and opened his eyes. The tent was richly furnished, finely engraved safe travel, campaign table and even a bed with a bed. A brazier in the center of the room warmed him back. He slammed violently lid of the box, cutting short the lullaby. "Finally! "His arm drove his chair and rose by smoothing the folds of his long black cloak.
noises were heard outside, a man opened the door and stood on his knees before her lord "Lord Katharn, the rain stopped as you predicted! . The cold had engulfed him, which made Katharn wince. But it is with a smile devoid of warmth he asked the soldier to recover, more to prevent it from spreading further more mud on the inside than to offer some speed man soggy.
"Perfect! Made saddle my horse, red dress is a great day. That men are standing still in silence under orders. "

The great Michel Legrand the poster for a jazz concert in Geneva-manifolds. The legendary composer-arranger-pianist-singer Franco-American author of countless soundtracks for movies, classic songs, and known particularly as an arranger of music easy listening (in French is called, somewhat pejoratively, elevator music), were to sit in a room in Geneva as part of an intimate concert. The idea seemed appealing a few years ago and, in this case, I contacted by an advertising agency to make the poster. With some minor exceptions, the project was approved and I already saw the cartoon a little here and there in town, curious to know the reaction of people. But for reasons that escape me (the ways of the world of jazz-varieties are deep, they say) and to the dismay of all the great fans of Legrand, the concert did not happen. So, project and caricature were, ipso facto definitively abandoned.
However here is the original project, still in its sketches (within the agency, the preference was rather for an illustration line for a shot in color), before being dressed in the final layout of the poster.

Stay A Step Ahead Of Scorpio Man
The following "Five Miniatures Ironic" (Five Pieces ironical) was written for brass quintet (two trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba) and fits into the style tonal music. In response to my proposal to publish the complete work on the internet in order to be downloaded, I present here the second movement, entitled "Office Cowboy" (Office Cowboy). The score is already implemented and in the case of a performance, parts of each instrument can be made available to all. To do this, just ask me by e-mail and they will be sent free of charge.
Partition "Office Cowboy" (Office Cowboy) can be downloaded for free in its French version and Français version by clicking on links, respectively.
